Larry is the Industrial Liaison for the Center for Wireless Integrated MicroSensing and Systems (WIMS2). He oversees the Center’s industrial program, which includes: facilitating relationships among industrial members, faculty and students, aiding in the transfer of technology to industry, and growing the member community.
Larry has a BS in Engineering from Princeton, an MBA from the University of Cincinnati, and joined WIMS2 after a 35-year career in the computer industry. He has held positions in strategic alliances, consulting, industry marketing, and business development at IBM, Hewlett Packard, and Digital Equipment Corporation. He also managed a product marketing and sales group at ESCA Corporation, the leading supplier of electric utility transmission control centers, and was the district sales representative for Applicon, a spinoff of Lincoln Laboratories, and one of the first suppliers of commercially available IC design systems.
